The Fenwick HMX salmon/steelhead rods are top quality graphite rods specially designed for steelhead and salmon fishing. These rods are built with cross-scrim construction that utilizes overlapping layers to achieve exceptional strength and action. These rods also include Hard Chromium SS304 guides with plated stainless steel guide rings. These guide rings are up to 55% lighter than conventional aluminum oxide rings guides and provide maximum sensitivity with less friction to improve casting distance, yet are still 20 times tougher.
Additional features of the rods include graphite reel seats, premium cork grips, black chromed stainless steel guide frames, a hook keeper and a five year manufacturer's warranty. These are all two piece rods.
