Fenwick HMG Casting Rods, "the world's original graphite rods", are constructed using state-of-the-art Carbon Veil technology. Carbon Veil is a non-woven, multi directional hoop fiber that creates a shield of protection around the 100% High Modulus Graphite. This results in a higher strength-to-weight ratio and increased sensitivity.
HMG Casting Rods feature TAC handles to provide increased grip in all fishing conditions and are more durable than standard cork and ergonomic Fuji soft touch VSS reel seats and Fuji Alconite guides. The Alconite guides have 80% greater compression strength while being 20% lighter than Aluminum Oxide guides.
