Drennan Alloy Stick Floats
Drennan Alloy Sticks are used in the same way as standard stick floats but come into their own when the flow is slightly stronger or more turbulent. Its widened mid-body and wire tail increase stability in turbulent waters, reducing the wobbling effect. The float's thin tail increases its sensitivity by reducing the friction when being pulled by a fish.
These floats are the perfect floats for side-drifting small and medium sized rivers.
The Alloy Stick comes in three different sizes, ranging from 5 1/2" to 6 3/8". The smaller size No. 3 is ideal for the smaller streams, and the larger floats can withstand the current of most medium sized streams.
In addition to the length, each float is marked with a gram weight on the side. The four gram weights we offer are 1.0, 1.25, and 1.75. This weight is not the weight of the float itself, but rather the amount of weight in grams that the float will support.

These are "loose" floats, meaning they do not come in a separate package. The rubber float caps used to attach the float to the fishing line are sold separately.
