Diamondback Swinger Switch Rods are a smooth loading series of 4 piece 11’ to 11’ 6’’ switch rods in 4 through 8 weights with each rod featuring a unique taper relative to its size and intended application. The 11’ 4 and 5 weight rods have a smaller diameter and shorter grips, and medium action tips for swinging wet flies to trout and casting the lightest shooting heads. The 11’ 6’’ 6 through 8 weight rods are designed with medium-fast tip action and plenty of reserve power in the butt for tossing shooting heads, making crisp mends, and handling larger fish.

Diamondback Swinger Switch Rods include features such as a glossy, dark emerald blank finish with black wraps and silver accents, a burled maple wood reelseat insert with black anodized hardware, unique ergonomic front and rear grips, and oversize stripper and stainless steel snake guides for accommodating large diameter shooting heads.
