Diamondback Glass Series Fly Rods build upon the legendary popularity of Diamondback's original Diamondglass with several improvements. Each Glass Series Fly Rod has a unique taper that maintains the distinct glass "touch" in the tip and mid-section, yet provides enough backbone to strike and play larger fish. These rods are designed to be ultra-accurate at close range, yet capable of reaching out when necessary. Their forgiving, medium progressive, moderate actions will allow for the most precise and delicate presentations, and you won't find a sweeter series of dry fly rods on the market.

Diamondback Glass Series Fly Rods are constructed from Diamondbacks's proprietary S22 fiberglass blend, and feature a striking midnight-blue gloss blank, dark blue wraps, silver accent wraps, nickel silver winding check, stainless chrome snake guides and a burled Mappa reel seat with dark nickel hardware. Models GLASS602 and GLASS663 feature sliding band reel seats and cigar shaped, grade a cork handles. All other models feature standard uplocking reel seats and modified western shaped, grade a cork handles.

  • GLASS602 - This six foot, compact rod is the perfect backpacking companion for small mountain brooks.

  • GLASS663 - This model is designed for ultra-light presentations to trout, panfish, and other small species. It is a great choice for mountain stream brook trout fishing.

  • GLASS703 - As a seven footer, it is perfect for small stream trout fishing where a slightly longer rod is required. It works well when casting dry flies and nymphs in sizes from 8 to 18. Incredibly strong and lightweight, this fly rod will also handle the unexpected larger fish that often surfaces in native trout streams.

  • GLASS763 - As a multi-purpose three weight fly rod, this model is the perfect complement for any angler that typically fishes with a five or six weight. This rod has been designed for crystal clear running streams which often require the lightest tippets and longer casts for a successful presentation.

  • GLASS804 - This four weight rod will handle longer casts in windy conditions while still providing unequalled sensitivity. Designed for larger trout, this rod will also perform flawlessly in most smaller western streams.

  • GLASS864 - This four weight rod will handle larger trout and windy conditions. This model has been designed as an excellent all-around packable trout rod.
