The Flawless Series is a new and exciting generation of fly rods with the lightest physical weight, highest performance and greatest value Diamondback has ever offered. The trout models offer a perfect blend of speed, delicacy and control which true trout aficionados will appreciate. The mid and heavy line weight rods are designed for casters who can challenge higher line speeds characteristics and benefit from the Flawless's astounding capabilities. Most any rod will do on an ideal day, however ideal is rarely the norm. These new rods are designed to tame the conditions of windier days in wide-open spaces.
All Flawless rods are 4 pc., light in the hand, sleek in profile and set a new benchmark for performance cosmetics and value for the Diamondback Rod Company. Line weights 2 through 6 feature lustrous black hardware, burled wood reel seat spacers and western style cork grips. 7 through 12 weights feature black hardware, all aluminum reel seats and full wells style cork grips. (Model DBF906-4SSD, a 9' 0" - 6 weight, is designed for light saltwater use and features a saltwater-safe aluminum reel seat and full wells cork grip.)

- DBF802-4 - 40' and closer with a tiny midge you have a recipe for fun! It's a feather in the hand and it throws a 2 wt. line with ease.
- DBF803-4 - For smaller streams where 40' and closer is the target range. This rod is perfect for small dry flies and lightly weighted nymphs.
- DBF804-4 - Fast and responsive with 8' to 40' of line or more. Deadly accurate for delicate dry fly presentations and a joy with smaller weighted nymphs.
- DBF863-4 - What a wand! Tricos and Midges are a specialty for this rod. Excellent up to 50' for ease of casting and supreme accuracy.
- DBF864-4 - A sniper at 55 ft. or closer with the accuracy of a surgeon. Great with any presentation that's typically delivered with a 4 wt. line.
- DBF865-4 - Perhaps the benchmark for this entire trout series, designed for ease of casting in close or out far. Tight controllable loops that will lay down a 5 wt. line with ease. If you're looking for an all around high performance 5 wt. rod this is the rod for you.
- DBF904-4 - A faster western action 4 wt. that will deliver parachute flies with a wind in your face. The stiffer butt section works exceptionally well for easy line mending for nymphing with bead heads.
- DBF905-4 - A fast versatile 5 wt. that will serve up an ace in any situation from the trout streams in the east to big water in the west. A great all purpose 5 wt. rod.
- DBF906-4 - A perfect delivery of 6 wt. power for that bigger dry fly in the wind or a big weighted Woolly Bugger to the opposite bank. Team this rod up with a Cortland Western Drifter for the perfect Hopper rod!
- DBF906-4SSD - Another benchmark rod from the Flawless series. Superior power for a 6 wt. rod that perfectly mates up with a Cortland Tropic Plus Lazer line. Extremely accurate presentations up close with the ability to really reach out when needed. Also works great for smallmouth bass or western trout. Great with a Cortland Western Drifter line and heavy streamers or big hoppers.
- DBF907-4SSD - Great Bahamas Bonefish rod, a pleasure to cast, nice feeling all the way through the mid section with a powerful butt. Works great for Redfish when matched with a Cortland Tropic Plus Redfish Line or a Tropic Plus Lazer line. The lightweight and balanced provides a sensitive feel. The strong butt section makes this a supreme 7 wt. Steelhead rod.
- DBF908-4SSD - A lean mean 8 wt. rod that's designed to perform beyond the expectations of other 8 wt's. If you know how to generate line speed and keep a tight loop during tough conditions, this rod will meet your expectations.
- DBF909-4SSD - Another benchmark rod for this series. The powerful thin diameter blank is able to reach out to 90' and beyond with ease. For salt or freshwater where performance in tough conditions is needed, or for effortless high-speed casts on calm days. The Flawless 9 wt. is a new best friend for any serious fly angler.
- DBF910-4SSD - Excellent casting performance and power in the wind with plenty of guts for taming big fish like Stripers in the tide, Tarpon on the flats or Canadian Leviathan Pike.
- DBF911-4SSD and DBF912-4SSD - If you like throwing heavy weight lines in the wind but sometimes the rod you're casting lets you down, beat the wind with the Diamondback Flawless 911-4 or 912-4. From coast to coast and around the world where ever there's a need for a fast action rod that can cut through the wind or haul in that fish of a lifetime.
