The Daiwa Heartland HLD Trolling Rod series offers a wide variety of actions tailored for modern trolling techniques. Heartland HLD Trolling Rods feature rugged e-glass blanks for the perfect blend of durability and sensitivity. From Leadcore to Planer Boards, Downriggers to Dipsy Divers, there is a Heartland rod to fit every freshwater trolling situation.

Additional features of the Heartland HLD Trolling Rods include:
  • Rugged E-Glass blanks provide proper rod trolling actions
  • High-density Duracork foam grips with rubber butt ends
  • Genuine Fuji reel seats with stainless steel hoods
  • Stainless steel guides with aluminum oxide inserts (except Wire Line model HLD-WL862M)
  • Wire Line trolling rod (Model HLD-WL862M) features the tangle-free AFTCOŽ Roller Swivel Tip, plus lightweight roller guides.
  • Hook keeper
We stock nine models of the Daiwa Heartland HLD Trolling Rods, including the 6' 6" and 7' 0" Leadcore models, the 7' 6" Planer Board model, the 8' 0" and 8' 6" Downrigger models, the 8' 6" Kokanee model, the 8' 6" Wire Line model, and the 9' 6" and 10' 6" Dipsy Diver models. All rods are 2-piece and feature dark green blanks with black and gold thread wraps and black guides.
