The Daiwa D-Wave Spinning Combos are perfect for heavy freshwater applications such as casting big lures to pike and musky or pulling plugs and spinners for salmon. In the salt these combos will work well for stripers, redfish, snook and baby tarpon.
Daiwa put these ready to fish combos together using quality components that anglers everywere can count on. The D-Wave rods feature full graphite construction for strength and sensitivity, along with Aluminum Oxide guides, stainless steel hooded reel seats and EVA foam grips for all day comfort.
The matching D-Wave spinning reels feature tough graphite body and rotor construction and machined aluminum, high capacity spools. These reels also include the Twist Buster 2 line rollers and Gyro Spin rotor balancing for smooth operation no matter what the conditions. Diawa's precision Digigear technology was used in the design and production of the D-Wave reels drive system. These reels include 3 high performance ball bearing plus one roller bearing.
