Shipments to Canada
For Canadian orders, on most orders we charge a flat $9.95 shipping, plus applicable taxes and duty. We do not charge an additional "brokerage" fee.
The taxes we collect are the Goods & Services Tax (GST) and Harmonized Sales Tax (HST), which includes the Provincial Sales Tax (PST).
We ship to Canada approximately two times per week. You will receive an email when your order leaves our facility. It will be inducted into the Canada Post System later that day.
If your order contains one or more backordered items, and if the value of the backordered items is relatively minor, we may cancel the backordered items and ship the remainder of the order. You will be charged only for the items shipped, plus shipping and the duty and taxes applicable to the items that shipped. We will email you and advise you if any backordered items were cancelled, and the total amount charged. If major items on your order are not in our warehouse at the time your order is placed, we may hold your order until the items are in our warehouse, then ship your order. We will email you if there will be a significant delay in the shipment of your order.
The following are exceptions to our flat-rate Canadian shipping charge:
- Certain products shipped to Canada will be charged our actual shipping cost, rather than our standard flat-rate shipping charge. Currently the products shipped to Canada which are charged actual shipping include the following: (a) Ice Augers; (b) Downriggers; (c) Ice Huts and Shelters; (d) Waders; and (e) certain large or heavy items, or orders that must ship in multiple packages. If an order will be shipped to Canada and if it contains an ice auger, downrigger, ice hut or shelter, waders or certain large or heavy items, the entire order will be charged actual shipping, plus the applicable Canadian taxes and duty. Before we ship, we will quote the total shipping charge and then await your approval by telephone or email.
- We reserve the right to decline to ship any order to any destination in Canada for our standard flat-rate shipping charge if the package is unusually large or heavy, or for any other reason. If we decline to ship an order for our standard shipping charge, we will contact you before we proceed with your order.
- Shipments to more than one address require shipping charges for each address.
When you place an order with us to be shipped to Canada, you authorize our Canadian customs broker to act on your behalf as the Importer of Record with the Canada Border Services Agency and the Canada Revenue Agency to clear your merchandise through customs, and to pay the applicable duty and taxes. Amounts we collect for duty and taxes are accepted by us on your behalf for the designated Canadian customs broker to pay on your behalf.
International Shipments Outside Canada
To place an order for delivery outside the United States or Canada, you must first complete your order online. The shipping charge will appear as "International Shipping Per Quote."
We only accept PayPal payments for any order for delivery outside the United States or Canada. We may require payment from a verified PayPal account. We do not accept credit cards for international orders that are not shipping to Canada.
Once we receive your online order, you will receive an email from us which will contain your shipping options and costs. We charge actual shipping on all international orders not shipped to Canada. We ship internationally using United States Postal Service – International Priority Insured, and FedEx International Economy, although both options may not be available for all orders.
If you respond to the shipping quote and approve a shipping method and amount, we will email you with instructions to pay the shipping charge. The shipping charge must be paid from the same verified PayPal account used on the order.
If you do not email us and select a shipping method within 48 hours, or if you notify us by email or telephone that you do not approve the shipping charge, we will cancel the order and refund any payment made.
On all international orders delivered outside the United States or Canada, the purchaser is responsible for any taxes, duties or import fees charged upon receipt. Please note that we cannot guarantee the delivery time for orders shipped outside the United States because we cannot control the time it takes any order to pass through customs.
Due to high instances of fraud, we will not ship certain items which are billed or shipped internationally, or to a freight-forwarding company. If you order an item we do not ship internationally, we will cancel your order and issue a refund. Please contact us if you would like more information regarding our international sales restrictions.
