Constructed using a hard, extremely durable smooth coating on a braided monofilament core (30#) to withstand the tropical heat. The Cortland Precision Tropic Plus Tarpon full floating lines pick up easily when a second cast is needed. The purposely overweighted head and short front taper turns over large, air-resistant tarpon flies quickly and accurately. A level step in the beginning of the running line prevents line hinging when carrying more line.
