Cortland Precision Salmon/Steelhead is part of an exciting new line of species specific fly lines designed to turn over flies perfectly every time. The Precision lines also feature Cortland’s newest performance enhancer, Duraslik. Duraslik is an entirely new formulation that dramatically increases durability and ensures that these lines will stay slick.
Important new features of the Precision Salmon/Steelhead fly lines include two-tone fluorescent green/mint coloration for easy pickup identification and mending. The redesigned Rocket2 taper has a shorter front taper for precision when casting large streamers and weighted flies backed up by an extra long back taper for maximum aerialization.
We stock the Precision Salmon/Steelhead fly lines in sizes seven, eight and nine. These are all weight forward floating lines with nylon braid cores. All Precision Salmon/Steelhead fly lines are ninety feet in length.
