Cortland Precision
Floating and Intermediate Running Line
One of the biggest problems with shooting head/running line set-ups has been the "hinge" that develops when you connect the two different lines. Not anymore! Cortland has developed the Precision running line which features a small front body that tapers into the rest of the running line eliminating hinging and adding distance to every cast. The front body mates exactly to the rear taper of the Shooting Head for smooth energy transfer, then tapers into the running line section.
Welded loops connect smoothly with matching Precision Shooting Heads (and other shooting heads featuring rear loops) for no guide hang-ups.
We offer the Cortland Precision running line in the following types:
- Floating in a .027" diameter (in a mint green color with a nylon braided core)
- Floating in a .031" diameter (in a mint green color with a nylon braided core)
- Intermediate sinking in a .027" diameter (in a fluorescent yellow color with a mono core)
- Intermediate sinking in a .031" diameter (in a fluorescent yellow color with a mono core)
These lines are 100 feet total in length. Each line features a welded loop with an 8' body section, a 3' taper and an 89' running line section.
Please select the diameter from the menu above.
