Cortland Great Lakes Ready-To-Troll Lead Core Line offers the lead core trolling angler an easy way to spool up reels. Ready-To-Troll Lead Core Line features a pre-knotted monofilament leader, your choice of 5 or 10 colors of premium lead core line and pre-knotted backing. This is great for the angler using lead core for the first time or for anyone looking for spooling convenience.
Cortland's premium lead core line features tough, abrasion-resistant braided nylon over a lead core to insure quick sinking. This line has 5 or 10 different specially dyed colors which change every 10 yards so you can measure the length of line out and water depths. At 0.5 to 1.8 mph trolling speed, 6 ft. of lead core line out sinks 1 ft., meaning that 10 yards, or 1 color, will sink 5 ft.
We offer Cortland Great Lakes Ready-To-Troll Lead Core Line in 5 or 10 colors in 18, 27 and 36 pound test. Each spool features a 50 ft. 20 pound test monofilament leader tied to the lead core tied to 300 ft. of 30 pound test backing.
