Cortland's Deep Trolling premium lead core line features tough, abrasion-resistant braided nylon over a lead core to insure quick sinking. This line has 20 different specially dyed colors which change every 10 yards so you can measure the length of line out and the depth at which it is running. The total length of the spool is 200 yards.

Cortland advises that at trolling speeds of 0.5 mph to 1.8 mph while using a 10 foot monofilament leader, each 6 feet of Kerplunk line out will attain a diving depth of one foot. Each line color section will dive approximately 5 feet.
