The Cortland 6 Weight Fly Outfit includes a 9' 0" 5/6 weight, two-piece rod, and a pre-loaded Cortland large arbor reel with backing and a floating weight-forward 6 weight fly line. The Cortland Fly Outfit can be easily converted for left or right hand retrieve.
The rod features a cork half-wells handle and an up-locking reel seat. The reel is designed with a composite frame and spool making it extremely light weight. The reel features an adjustable disk drag. The ventilated spool and arbor helps to decrease weight as well as speed line drying time. The reel is a large-arbor fly reel with a spool diameter of 3 5/8".
This is a great outfit for anyone looking to get started in fly fishing, or as a back-up outfit for the seasoned angler. The Cortland 6 Weight Fly Outfit will work well for trout, panfish and smaller bass.
