Cortland 444SL Quick Descent
Weight Forward Sink Tip

Cortland 444SL Mini-Tip Super Sink

Closeout! $10.00 Off On All Remaining Quick Descent 444 SL Fly Lines! Regular Price $55.00, Now $35.00!

Sometimes a fly fisher needs a little help in "getting down." The "QD" weight forward design incorporates a 24 foot sinking head, followed by a 6 foot floating section and rear taper directly behind the head for maximum durability and casting superiority. Behind the head is a floating running line. This design makes shooting a long cast a breeze, while the floating section of the body helps with line control when mending.

We stock this line in 225 and 325 grain, which are popular primarily for salmon and steelhead fishing.

The 225 grain line is orange with a dark brown sinking tip. It has a sink rate of 4.5 inches per second and is designed for 6 through 9 weight rods.

The 325 grain line is yellow with a dark brown sinking tip. It has a sink rate of 5.5 inches per second and is designed for 7 through 11 weight rods.

This is one of the "Specialized Line" in the 444SL series of premium Cortland lines.

Please select the weight from the menu above.
