These are the Blackbird balsa floats made in Canada by Redwing Tackle. They have many of the features of the Blackbird Original floats, but they have the lightness that can only be achieved by fine grade balsa wood.
They have a red top, varnished balsa wood bottom and a clear plastic quill with a red tip. These traditional shaped floats have a removable quill. The pencil floats have a fixed quill and come with rubber float caps in the package. These floats come two to a package.
We stock these floats in the following styles and sizes:
- Model BF-1: 1" diameter with a 4 1/4" quill
- Model BF-2: 7/8" diameter with a 3 1/2" quill
