Anvil Ice Tempered Scissors

Anvil Ice Tempered Scissors are some of the finest scissors available to fly tiers. We offer these scissors in several styles, perfect for a wide range of fly tying cutting chores.

The Anvil Bio-Tek, Straight (40-A) and Anvil Bio-Tek, Curved (40-CA) Scissors feature offset handles to provide tension relief when working with small to medium flies. The blades offer fine, sharp points and are composed of ice tempered stainless steel. The finger loops are about 1" and 1 1/4" in diameter, are coated with rubber and the open loop design allows adjustment. The scissors measure 4 1/4" inches long.

The Anvil Mini, Straight (50-A) and Anvil Mini, Curved (50-CA) Scissors are great for fine fly work and will serve as general purpose scissors as well. The blades feature fine, sharp points and are composed of ice tempered stainless steel. The finger loops are about 1" in diameter, are coated with rubber and the open loop design allows adjustment. The scissors measure 3 1/4" inches long.

The Anvil Long Reach, Straight (60-A) and Anvil Long Reach, Curved (60-CA) Scissors are also great for fine fly work and give the tyer a greater reach. These are great for tyers with larger hands who still need precise scissors. The blades feature fine, sharp points and are composed of ice tempered stainless steel. The finger loops are about 1" in diameter, are coated with rubber and the open loop design allows adjustment. The scissors measure 4 1/8" inches long.

The Anvil Ultimate, Straight (70-A), Anvil Ultimate, Curved (70-CA), Anvil Ultimate, Straight, 2-Blade Serration (70-AC2), and Anvil Ultimate, Curved, 2-Blade Serration (70-CAC2) Scissors are great for the tier that needs one scissors to handle all their tying needs, including deer hair and synthetic materials that are tough to cut with lesser quality tools. The blades feature fine, sharp points and are composed of ice tempered stainless steel. Models 70-AC2 and 70-CAC2 feature two blade serration. The finger loops are about 7/8" in diameter and are coated with rubber. The scissors measure 4 1/4" inches long.

The Anvil Ultimate Taperizer (90-T) Scissors are specifically designed to permit the thinning of synthetic and natural wing materials. The special slots allow the thinning and blending of fibers in one easy step, giving a lifelike appearance in far less time than conventional methods. The Ultimate Taperizer is suited for your larger saltwater flies. The finger loops are about 7/8" in diameter and are coated with rubber. The scissors measure 4 1/4" inches long.

The Anvil 5" Blender Scissors are specifically designed to permit the thinning of synthetic and natural wing materials. These are larger than the Anvil Ultimate Taperizer (90-T) Scissors. The special slots allow the thinning and blending of fibers in one easy step, giving a lifelike appearance in far less time than conventional methods. The 5" Blender Scissors are suited for your larger saltwater flies. The finger loops are about 7/8" in diameter and are coated with rubber.

The 5" Curved Serrated and 5" Straight Serrated Scissors are great for work on larger flies and give the tyer the ability to remove more material. The blades feature fine, sharp points with micro serrated edges. The fine serrations grip the material so as to better cut it. The blades are constructed of ice tempered stainless steel. The finger loops are about 7/8" in diameter, are coated with rubber and the open loop design allows adjustment.
