Line Counter Reels
The Abu Garcia Ambassadeur Line Counter Reels offer proven performance in a trolling reel. These reels feature two stainless steel ball bearings, aluminum spool and a carbon matrix drag system.
Additional features of these reels include:
- Six-pin centrifugal braking system.
- Corrosion resistant anti reverse bearing
- Line counter (measures line out in feet)
- Double paddle handle on the 5500
- Single power handle on the 6500
- Line out alarm (spool clicker)
The Model 5500 has a double-paddle handle rather than a single paddle handle as shown in the pictures.
We stock the Abu Garcia Ambassadeur line counter reels in two sizes. The 5500 size is comparable to a "15 or 20" size line counter reel and the 6500 is comparable to a "30" size line counter reel.
