ACME Little Cleo Spoons
For over 50 years Acme Little Cleos have been taking limit catches of gamefish throughout North America. The unique hump-backed shape of the Little Cleo results in a seductive, wiggling action as the lure is drawn through the water. The illusion created is one of a fat baitfish, acting in an erratic, confused manner. This odd behavior triggers the predatory nature of the gamefish, who strike out of curiosity and anger, as well as hunger. This three-way appeal hooks them every time, and explains Little Cleo's fantastic success - it's famous worldwide as the one lure that takes all gamefish.
Currently we carry four sizes and twelve popular colors of Little Cleo spoons:
- C-140 (1/4 oz.) - which is 1 1/2 inches in length, used for light spinning or spincasting with 4-6 pound test line.
- C-100 (1/3 oz.) - which is 1 3/4 inches in length, used for light to medium spinning, spincasting or trolling with 4-8 pound test line.
- C-200 (2/5 oz.) - which is 2 inches in length, used for medium to medium-heavy spinning, trolling or baitcasting in still or running water with 8-12 pound test line.
- C-340 (3/4 oz.) - which is 2 3/8 inches in length, used for medium to medium-heavy spinning, trolling or baitcasting in still or running water with 10-17 pound test line.
